Keithhall (of Old Monkeggie) and Kinkell were two separate congregations untill 1754 when the parishes of Monkeggie and Kinkell were united. The united congregation was named Keithhall and Kinkell Church of Scotland. The charge worshipped under lay missionary supply from 1958 until 1976 when a link was established with Fintray and Kinellar-Blackburn Church. At this time the minister at Fintry and Kinellar also took on ministerial responsibility for Keithhall Church, and 'Kinkell' was dropped from their name at this time too. |
