The Presbytery of Jedburgh, which sat within the Synod of Merse and Teviotdale, originally comprised the following parishes: Ancrum and Langnewton, Bedrule, Cavers, Crailing and Nisbet, Eckford, Edgerston, Hawick, Hopekirk, Hownam, Abbotrule, Jedburgh, Hassendean, Oxenham, Southdean, Teviothead and Wilton. During the 20th century the Presbyteries of Jedburgh and Kelso were united together. |
