Millerston Church, Glasgow, began as a mission station in 1846. The church was built in Stirling Road, Glasgow, as Millerston Free Church, in 1856. It later became Millerston United Free Church and joined the Church of Scotland at the reunion of 1929. It was terminated by dissolution in 1953. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. (There is, however, still a Millerston United Free Church, part of the United Free Church of Scotland [continuing].) |
