The origins of the congregation of Fowlis Wester (or Foulis in Strathearn) began around the time of the Reformation when a reader was in place there in 1567. The congregation was linked with that of Monzie in May 1961, and Madderty in June 1984. These three charges were united in 2007 under the name of Fowlis Wester Madderty and Monzie Parish Church of Scotland. |
