The Parish of Glamis which originally sat in the Presbytery of Forfar, was dedicated to St Fergus and belonged to the Abbey of Arbroath. Ministry is recorded from 1567 in the person of Robert Boyd. Glamis was linked with Inverarity and Kinnettles on 24th March, 1982. The parishes later united in 1996 to form Glamis, Inverarity and Kinnettles and are presently within the Presbytery of Angus. |
