The church of Arnsheen, Ayrshire, was built in 1845 and the parish disjoined from Colmonell in 1872. It was originally in the presbytery of Stranraer and synod of Galloway, and remained so after the union of 1929. In 1930 it united with Barrhill as Arnsheen-Barrhill. It is now Arnsheen Barrhill linked with Colmonell, and is in the presbytery of Ayr. Synods were abolished in 1993. |
