St Nicholas Sighthill Church, a Church Extension charge, began its life in a temporary building in 1939. The building was extended in 1948, but a new church building was planned for the near future, and in September 1957 the new church was dedicated and opened for worship. Locally, the church is also known as 'The Children's Church'. |
