Hawick Burnfoot Parish Church began as a Church Extension Charge in 1951 when the congregation worshipped in a wooden hut provided by the Home Board. After these humble beginnings a Church Hall was erected and dedicated in 1955, but it wasn't until 1966 that full status was awarded to the church. There was a link with Hawick Wilton in 1973, but after only five years this link was terminated. |
