The congregation of Langholm parish church united with that of Langholm Chalmers in 1931 to form Langholm Old kirk session. Later, on 30 October 1974, there was a union with Langholm Eskine under name of Langholm, and Langholm then linked with Ewes and Westerkirk from same date. The kirk session of Langholm, Ewes and Westerkirk was formed on 1 August 1980 and later linked with Canonbie on 1 October 1980 before being terminated in 1998. |
