Blackbraes & Shieldhill Parish Church was established as a union of the congregations at Shieldhill and California (Blackbraes) on 1 Nov 1963 (see CH2/830). Previously the two congregations were in linkage from 1943 until 1958. Blackbraes & Shieldhill was linked with Muiravonside Parish Church in 2006 and the first minister of the new linkage was inducted on 17 Jan 2008. |
