The Kirk Session of Kilmore and Kilbride was established prior to 1636 when the two charges were united together, with each parish retaining its own church after the union. In 1966 Kilmore and Kilbride united with the congregation of Oban Old, under the name of Kilmore and Kilbride Oban Old, and further union followed in 1983 with Oban Christ's Church Dunollie and Oban St Columba's Argyll Square to form the charge of Kilmore and Oban. The kirk session of Kilmore and Kilbride sat within the Presbytery of Lorn. |
