The parish of Greenock St Paul's was established in 1901 when it was disjoined from the West Parish and erected quoad sacra. An iron church had been opened here in 1878 and a stone church a number of years later in 1893. In 1978 Greenock St Paul's united with the congregation of Greenock Finnart under the name of Greenock Finnart St Paul's. Greenock St Paul's Kirk Session sat within the Presbytery of Greenock. |
