The congregation of Kilbowie, which sat within the Presbytery of Dumbarton, first met in temporary hall accommodation in 1896 and a church was later built in 1904. In 1913 the parish of Kilbowie was disjoined from that of Old Kilpatrick and erected quoad sacra. Kilbowie later united in 1990 with the congregation of Clydebank St Andrew's (CH2/679) to form Clydebank Kilbowie St Andrew's. |
