The Presbytery of Bathgate, which was established during the early years of the 20th century, sat within the Synod of Lothian and Tweedale and in 1964 the name of the presbytery was changed, by the General Assembly, to that of Livingston and Bathgate. The Livingston and Bathgate Presbytery was later dissolved by the restructuring of the presbyteries in 1976. |
