In 1987, the former John Knox (Gerrard Street) Free, United Free, Church of Scotland closed the congregation and united with John Knox, (Mounthooly). On 6 June 1996 merged with Greyfriars and became Aberdeen, Greyfriars John Knox |

Records of John Knox (Mounthooly) Church of Scotland, CH2/1493/18-58. These records were deposited when the church united with Greyfriars Church, Broad Street in 1997. This material also contains the Minutes of the Free John Knox Girls' School. Material for both John Knox (Mounthooly) and John Knox (Gerrard Street), CH2/1493/1-17, including minutes have been deposited at an earlier date with the Scottish Record Office. |
