St Bernard?s Church, Glasgow, originated as a mission church in Main Street, Gorbals, in 1868. A new church was built in Cumberland Street in 1876 and the quoad sacra parish was disjoined in the same year. It terminated in 1931 on uniting with Oatlands as Oatlands St Bernard?s. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
