The Kirk Session of Kelso St John's-Edenside was established in 1931 at the union of the former United Free Church congregations of Kelso Edenside and Kelso St John's. After the local union the former Edenside church was sold and further union followed in 1952 with Ednam to form the charge of Kelso St John's-Edenside and Ednam. In 1974 St John's-Edenside and Ednam established a link with Sprouston and in 1980 a union occurred between St John's Edenside and Ednam, and Kelso Trinity North, under the name of Kelso North and Ednam. The kirk session sits within the Presbytery of Jedburgh. |
