The Church of St Mary's, Edinburgh, originally known as Bellevue, was opened in 1824 as a Burgh Church. Built by the City of Edinburgh it was erected in compliance with the Act of parliament of 1809, which required provision to be made for churches in the north section of the New Town. St Mary's united in 1992 with Broughton McDonald's to form Broughton St Mary's. |
