Milton Church, Glasgow, began as a chapel of ease in Cowcaddens in 1836. The church, in Milton Street at Maitland Street, dated from 1839 and the quoad sacra parish was disjoined in 1869. It terminated in 1957 on uniting with St Stephen?s Garnethill as Milton St Stephen?s. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
