Temple Church, Glasgow, originated with mission work by the established church in the 1870s. A church was erected in Crow Road at Strathcona Street in 1892 and four years later Temple was disjoined as a quoad sacra parish. Until 1929 it was in the presbytery of Dumbarton, thereafter in Glasgow, and was in the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
