The Presbytery of Weem was erected by the General Assembly on the 29th May 1836 and the register of the Presbytery commences on the 26th October of the same year. The parishes within the Presbytery , which formerly sat within the jurisdiction of the Synod of Perth and Stirling, were taken from the Presbytery of Dunkeld. Weem Presbytery was dissolved during the 20th century by boundary disputes. |
