The Women's Guild section of the Church of Scotland was a highly organised voluntary organisation of women. They supported local and overseas projects. From 1897 in the Presbytery of Stirling and Dunblane (later just Stirling) they met as a Presbyterial Council. The Women's Guild was later renamed as the Church of Scotland Guild, and men admitted. |
