The kirk session of Edinburgh Hillside was established in 1956 by the union of the congregation of Lady Glenorchy's North with Barony and St James's Place. Following the union the Barony and St James's Place church was sold to Mutrie's Theatrical Costumiers and the former Lady Glenochry's North church served as the place of worship for the united charge. In 1978 Edinburgh Hillside, which sat within the Presbytery of Edinburgh, united with Greenside under the name of Greenside, and the Hillside buildings were later sold. |
