The kirk session of Avonbridge was first established during the early years of the 19th century as a United Presbyterian congregation, and at the union of 1900 became a United Free charge. Many years after the 1929 union of the Church of Scotland and the United Free Church, Avonbridge Kirk Session, which presently sits within the Presbytery of West Lothian, formed a link with Torphichen. |
