Laurieston Church, Glasgow, began with the appointment of a minister and the erection of a church at the intersection of Norfolk Street and South Portland Street in 1842. The parish was disjoined from Kingston as Laurieston quoad sacra in 1853, and terminated in 1941 on uniting with Renwick as Laurieston Renwick. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
