Eastwood Church, Renfrewshire, was a medieval parish appropriated to Paisley Abbey. It was later in the presbytery of Paisley, but transferred to Glasgow in 1929. Its ministers included the ecclesiastical historian Robert Wodrow (1679-1734). The parish church, in Mansewood Road near Thornliebank Road, Glasgow, dates from 1863 and is on the site of a predecessor dating from 1781. |
