The Parish of Paisley St Mark's Old Hall was erected as a church extension charge, with church and halls, in 1937. For a time, the minister of St Mark's Old Hall additionally undertook work within the Glasgow Corporation Housing scheme at Penilee until the separate parish of Penilee St Andrew's was erected in 1950. The kirk session has sat within the jurisdiction of the Presbytery of Paisley throughout its existence. |
