Lenzie Old Church, Dunbartonshire, was disjoined from the parishes of Cadder and Kirkintilloch as Lenzie quoad sacra in 1876, in response to the development of Lenzie as a suburb around the railway station on the Edinburgh-Glasgow line. The church itself is nearby, in Garngaber Avenue, Lenzie, and dates from 1873. It is in the presbytery of Glasgow and was in the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
