Edinburgh Ministers' Daughters' College was an institution situated on Kilgraston Road in the Grange district of Edinburgh which dealt with the education of daughters of Ministers of the Church of Scotland and also daughters of Professors in the Scottish Universities. The course of Education taught included a range of academic subjects including history, geography, English grammar, French and German alongside other skills such as dressmaking, music, drawing and elocution. The school was later commonly known as Esdaile; it closed in 1967. |
