Cardonald Church, Glasgow, developed as a chapel of ease in the 1880s and was disjoined from Paisley and Govan as a quoad sacra parish in 1890. In 1929 it was transferred from Paisley presbytery to Glasgow. The church, in Paisley Road West at Cardonald Place Road, dates from 1889. It is in the presbytery of Glasgow and was formerly in the synod of Clydesdale. |
