Kinning Park West Church, Glasgow, originated with Church of Scotland mission work in the area, leading to the appointment of a minister and the erection of a church in Scotland Street at Middlesex Street in 1873. The parish was disjoined from Govan, as Kinning Park Parish quoad sacra, three years later. It terminated in 1957 on uniting with Kinning Park East as Kinning Park (I). It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
