Strathbungo Church, Glasgow, originated in mission work by the established church in the 1830s. The building dated from 1839, with a successor (1886) in Pollokshaws Road near Allison Street. The quoad sacra parish was disjoined from Govan and Queen?s Park in 1879 and terminated one hundred years later on uniting with Queen?s Park West as Strathbungo Queen?s Park. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
