A chapel was built at Milbrex in 1833 and the parish of Milbrex was disjoined a number of years later in 1858, from that of Fyvie and Monquhitter. In 1974 Milbrex formed a union with Fyvie under the name of Fyvie and a link later followed in 1993 with Rothienorman. The kirk session sat within the Presbytery of Turriff until the restructuring of the Presbyteries in 1976, when it became part of the Presbytery of Buchan. |
