St Kiaran?s Church, Glasgow, was in Burndyke Street, Govan. It originated in 1866 as an offshoot of St Columba?s, to provide additional facilities for worship for Gaelic speakers. The parish (as St Kiaran?s quoad sacra) was disjoined from Govan and Dean Park in 1884 and terminated in 1931 on uniting with Dean Park as St Kiaran?s Dean Park. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
