Pitt Papers and Related Correspondence NRAS2244/9/Bundles 96-98
This collection mainly relating to various members of the Pitt family including the statesman William Pitt (1759-1806) appears to have been gifted to the 5th Earl of Rosebery by a descendant of one of Pitt's political colleagues; however there is no reference in Rosebery's short biography of Pitt, published in 1891, to these papers.
