This volume contains a miscellaneous collection of material bound neither chronologically nor according to subject. It relates largely to agricultural improvement, the government's financial and agricultural policies and to medical topics, including:
fol. 1v An 'abstract of a journey from Highgate to Edinburgh' with a detailed analysis of the fare of £62, 1778.
fols.5-15 'Hints given to Lord Deskford on beginning his education at Oxford by Drummond Archbishop of York, Lord President Dundas and others', 1773.
fols. 20-33 'Observations on Lord Liverpool's treatise on the coins of the realm', 1805.
