Description

1) Typescript of lecture by Professor R. Hanbury Brown, delivered at the Institute of Electrical Engineers on 22 February 1993, to celebrate the Centenary. Mainly concerned with development of Radar; mentions Watson Watt's time at University College, Dundee.
2) The Watson-Watt Centenary: a Tribute by Prof. R. Hanbury Brown to Sir Robert Watson-Watt, "The Father of Radar". Video of Hanbury Brown delivering his lecture interspersed with photographs, including those of Watson-Watt and his colleagues. Includes footage of Watson-Watt reminiscing about early days of radar. Produced by Douglas Fisher and Associates, 1993. [35 minutes].
3) Photographs of Watson-Watt. Includes portrait of him as an infant with his grandmother, and pictures taken in adult life.
