Archival History
|
Deposited by George Watson, 1999. The papers were gifted to him by Peter Burr, Janetstown, except for the Thurso Harbour Bill which was found in the house of John Sinclair, provost. The papers are thought to have come from a desk found in the Station Hotel which may originally have been in Banniskirk House. The Sinclair Wemyss family owned land in Caithness and the Williamson family were major tenants of theirs.
