Precept of Clare Constat by John Hamilton of Barncluith, addressed to John Stivinston [Stevenson], lawful son of Thomas Stivinston of Woodsyd [Woodside], as bailie, in favour of Andrew Golder, tailor in Hamiltoun [Hamilton], as lawful son and nearest heir of deceased Andrew Golder, tailor, burgess of Hamiltoun, in four acres of land of the said John Hamilton's six acres of land annexed to his tenement in the said burgh, lying on the north side of the highway thereof, one of the said four acres lying within the lands [of] "the Silvertounhill", now called "Paperthill", another lying in the "Cruiketaiker", and the other two lying in the "Croftheich", all lying within the territory of the said burgh of Hamiltoun.
