Extract bond of provision by Patrick Guthrie of Auchmithie to Isobell and Margaret Guthrie his only lawful daughters procreate betwixt him and Janet Read his spouse as follows: To the said Isobell his eldest daughter an annual-rent of 800 merks and to Margaret his second daughter an annual-rent of 480 merks out of his lands of Auchmithie lying in the lordship of Aberbrothwick, lands of Newton of Aberbrothwick and half of the toun and lands of Bruntoun with teind sheaves thereof, to be held of him in free blench for yearly payment of 1 penny under the conditions therein mentioned.
