Information for Margaret Scrymgeour against Alexander Wedderburne of Kingenzie her tutor; particularly anent a debt of 11,000 merks due by Patrick Guthrie of Auchmathie, fatherinlaw to the late Major William Scrymgeour; and another debt by the same of £7,300: besides £9000 or £10,000 of moveables etc. for which the said Tutor had not made count and reckoning - "but shifts the haill debt due by the said Patrick Guthrie upon ane quirk, viz. That albeit Patrick Guthrie" when he died left "ane opulent estate" yet "it was evanished and passed the reach of any diligence" by the Earl of Ethie taking possession, and the relict of said Patrick had "sparfled and put away" the moveables
