Description |
'Channerwick division. Sheet No II. Scroll plan of the runrig lands of Aith &c in North Cunningsburgh shewing proposed allocation'. By J W Hepburn, surveyor. [1:2400] 1 inch = 3 Imperial chains. 1132 x 1019 mm. Ink and colour wash. Tracing linen. Dissected into two sheets. Linen backing. Plan of the scheme of division of the runrig lands of Aith coloured to show each owner's allotment. Acreages given of both sections (see RHP 3957) and allotments given to individual owners including Dame Eliza Jane Nicolson, John Bruce and William Arthur Bruce. Each farm and township marked and named. Roads, rivers, footbridge, mills and coastal features notes. Adjacent owners of the various sections of runrig named including Lady Nicolson, John Bruce of Sumburgh, Francis Heddell, Charles Hope Heddell and Willianm Arthur Bruce. Key. Note signed by J W Hepburn showing that the plan was used along with a Report on the division of the runrig lands. |
