Description |
Tack by Mr Thomas Ros, parson and vicar of Alnes, with consent of his brethren the dean and canons of the cathedral kirk of Ros representing the chapter for the time, the see of the bishopric of Ross vacant for the time, whereby for certain sums advanced and bestowed in name of said Mr Thomas Ros by George Monro of Lemlair for reparation, maintaining and upholding of said parson's part of the parroche kirk of Alnes, he sets to said George Monro and Katherin Monro, his spouse, and survivor during their lifetime, and thereafter to the nearest lawful heir-male gotten betwixt them during his lifetime, whom failing to said George's next nearest and lawful heir-male as aforesaid, whom failing to John Monro, brother-german of said George Monro as aforesaid, whom failing to Androw Monro, second brother-german of said George, as aforesaid, whom failing to said George's nearest and lawful heir-male whomsoever during his lifetime, and thereafter to another heir-male of said George for the space of 19 years, the teind-sheaves of Kildermorie, 2 Kanlochis, Little and Meikle Boith, Achcharne, Lealdy, Culcragy, Alnes, Assint, Inchculter, Achnagald, Balnacowle, Canlochglas, Refarquhar and Candvochtrach, lying within the parish of Alnes and diocese of Ros, together with the whole of the teind salmon, etc, except the croft and manse of said parsonage in the chanonry of Ros; with entry at Lammas to the teind-sheaves of said lands, and to the teind-salmon, etc, at Allhallowmas; for yearly payment of the teind silver of said lands, etc, £66 13s 4d, and for the teind-salmon, etc, £20, in all £86 13s 4d Scots at Pasche and Lammas.
