INSTRUMENT of COGNITION and SASINE given by James Dyk [Dick], bailie of Dunde [Dundee], to John Terwat [?Durward], citizen of St. Andrews, as procurator for Hector Freman [Freeman], a monk of Pluscardyne [Pluscarden], son and heir of deceased George Freman, burgess of Dunde, of a tenement in the Seygait [Seagate] of Dunde: with letters of procuratory by said Hector Freman, and licence by George, prior of Pluscardyn, to said Hector to dispone said subjects.
