Title |
Instrument bearing that William Lindesay as procurator for Margaret Campbell and James Cunningham, her husband, lawfully premonished the curators of Alexander Cunningham, son and heir of umquhile William Cunningham of Craigends, to appear in the church of Kilmalcom the 9th June then next and receive 600 merks for redemption of the (sunny half of the) lands of Mansuray, Lintwhite, Knaps and half of the mill of Locher formerly alienate by umquhile Alexander Earl of Glencairn to the said umquhile William Cunningham of Craigends under reversion (and requiring Margaret Cunningham relict of the said William Cunningham of Craigends, and mother of the said Alexander to appear and receive 600 merks for the shadow of the said lands likewise alienated by Alexander Earl of Glencairn to William Cunningham of Craigends & Margaret, his wife), and to which reversion the said Margaret Campbell and her husband had acquired right. |
