1) Instrument of redemption by Robert Crawford of Clolymand procurator for Hugh, Earl of Eglinton from Mr James Boid (Boyd) of Parkhill procurator of Elizabeth Montgomery daughter of deceased Neill Montgomery of Langschaw and procurator for a noble lady Lady Catherine Kennedy of Sanchar Hamilton, assignee lawfully constituted of said Elizabeth of the 5 merk land of old extent of Wester Craig in Robertoun lying in the bailliary of Cunningham and sheriffdom of Ayr from the burden of 100 merks Witnesses: Andrew Nevin of Monkredding and others John Muir, notary 2) Instrument of redemption by Robert Crawford of Clolymand, procurator for Hugh, Earl of Eglinton from procurator of Helen Montgomerie, daughter of Neill Montgomerie and Lady Catherine Kennedy, her assignee of the two merk land with half a merk land called Halborins and the grain mill of Robertoun lying in the bailliary of Cunningham and sheriffdom of Ayr from the burden of 300 merks. Dated 10th November 1566 John Muir, notary 3) Instrument of redemption by Robert Crawford of Clolymand, procurator for Hugh, Earl of Eglinton from James Cunninghame second lawful son of James Cunninghame of Cunninghamhead of the four merk land of Mekillbusbie lying in the baillairy of Cunningham from the burden of 1000 merks. Dated 10th November 1566. Witnesses David Crawford, son of Robert Crawford and others. John Muir, notary 4) Instrument of redemption by Robert Crawford of Clolymand, procurator for Hugh, Earl of Eglinton from Lady Janet Kennedy of Caldwell and John Muir of Caldwell, knight, her spouse, of the barony of Robertoun lying in the bailliary of Cunningham from an annual rent of 50 merks furth thereof by payment of 500 merks. Dated 10th November 1566. Witnesses John Mure of Rowallan, James Kincaid of that ilk, Thomas Caldwell of that ilk and others.
