Description |
The records consist mainly of records of the Hope Trust, the papers of the Commissioners for Highland Roads and Bridges, and the personal and legal papers of John Hope, WS, as well as other papers of the Hope family and their clients.

Note: these papers were found, some loose, some in bundles with numbers on them. As some of the numbers are duplicated, the papers must have come from at least two sections or boxes, but it is not now possible to work out which. The bundle numbers have been retained in case the relevant inventory turns up later in the collection. |
