(1) n.d. Memorial of James Paterson, brother of Sir Hugh Paterson of Bannockburn, to Montrose, one of principal secretaries of state. Wishes promotion in navy.
(2) n.d. Memorial to Lord Provost of Edinburgh, concerning the profession of medicine in Edinburgh. Urging that the king should grant to Dr James Crauford, professor of medicine in university of Edinburgh, `survivency' of office and salary of first of HM two physicians in Scotland.
(3) n.d. Petition of James Leslie, sometime lieutenant in lord Lindsay's regiment, recommended by the Earl of Rothes, to Montrose, secretary of state. Wishes employment. With copy declaration in petitioner's favour, July 1710.
(4) 1715. Memorial of Captain Alexander Ruthven of HM royal regiment of foot, to Montrose, one of principal secretaries of state. Wishes interest.

(11) n.d. Copy signature for gift to James McDouall as beadle and keeper of chapel royal in Scotland, vacant through death of James Killpatrick.
(12) 1715. Petition of Jean Kinnaird, relict of Mr John Steedman, late minister, for herself and children, to Montrose, fo money.
(13) n.d. Petition in English and German to king, in favour of Marie Kynnaird, widow of Sir Alexander Kynnaird of Culbine, bt. Her husband and two sons lost their lives in Darien, while another son was captured by the Turks; wishes assistance.
(16) n.d. Memorial for Archibald Forbes, brother of Lord Forbes, to Montrose, one of principal secretaries of state. Wishe to succeed Mr Keith, surveyor general of customs of south district of North America, appointed to this post through influence of Lord Bolingbroke; was imprisoned in Newgate under suspicion of treasonable practices; suggests that he should be deprived of his office and that memorialist be appointed in his place.
(17) n.d. Petition of Lord Johnstone to King. Wishes continuance of pension to enable him to continue his education abroad.
