1. 1796 August 2. Fort Augustus.
Alexander Stewart, sub com of musters, to officer commanding, Dundee.
Is to be at Fort George on 16th curt to muster the troops and then proceeds to Dundee to do the same thing there on 22nd.
2. 1796 August 4. Taymouth.
John McLagan, doctor, to Captain and Adjutant Hector MacLean, Banff.
James Menzies, soldier in Captain Colin Campbell's company, now in tolerable health; rheumatism however incapacitates him for duty.
3. 1796 August 5. St Andrews.
William Vilant, ensign, 1st batt, to Captain McLean, 1st batt.
Asks for another month's leave.
