1. 1538, November 21 Bond of manrent by Duncan Campbell of Morinche to John Campbell of Glenurquhay. Witnesses: Mr Archibald McCarvie, Duncan Robertsoun, Walter Campbell and Robert Bourdoun and Archibald Redheucht. Applied seal slightly damaged.
2. 1538/9, March 9. Loch Taye Bond of manrent by Dougall MakEwin McGilgerf, Finlay, eldest son of said Dougall, Gilchrist and Ewin, brothers to said Finlay, John McGilchrist McGilgerf, Donald, his son, John McEne VecEwin, John, his son, Gilchrist, John and John, sons to Finlay, eldest son of said Dougall, Gilchrist McGilchrist, to John Campbell, laird of Glenurquhay. Witnesses: John Leithe, dewar of the Ferg (an unknown relic of St Fillan), and Robert Burdoun. Slightly damaged.
3. 1542, June 15 Contract between John Campbell of Glenurquhar on one part, and John McConche Roy, Alexander and Duncan, his brothers, on other part, whereby said John Campbell will maintain the other three in return for their service. Witnesses: Mr Archibald McCarbie, John ?Quyht, John Redheicht, Edward Radheucht and Archibald Radheucht.
4. 1544, May 19 Contract between John Campbell of Glenurquhar, Archibald Campbell of Glenlyoun, James Campbell of Lawres and Colin Campbell of Crannicht, brother german to said laird of Glenurquhar, touching all matters of debate done or said between them. Witnesses: Alexander Schawe of Camusmoir, sir James McGregour, dean of Lesmoir, Gregor Duncansone in Rourrowe, ?Allister McOlcallum VeikGregour in Flacthycht, Donald McQuhen in the Freest, sir Alexander Gyllespe, vicar of Inchadone, sir Dougall McGregour, vicar of Forthergyll, and sir John Jhonsone, notary.
1563, May 5 5. Contract between Colin Campbell of Glenurquhay and Mr George Quhit, his servant, whereby the latter binds himself to be a leal servant to said Colin. Badly damaged.
6. 1564, December 24. Perth Letters of maintenance by Archibald, earl of Argyle, of the whole clan and surname of clan Larane. Witnesses: Colin Campbell of Glenurquhay, John Campbell of Lawaris, James Campbell of Ardkinglas, John Campbell of Marthlie and Andrew Quhyt.
7. 1567, March 27 [1587?] Copy bond of manrent in form of contract between Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay on one part, and Dougall MakDugall of Dunolly for himself and his kin, friends, servants and part takers, and other part. Attested by Socrates MakEwin VcCoule, notary.
8. 1574, December 21 Copy (incomplete) of contract between Colin Campbell of Glenurchy, Catherine Ruthven, his spouse, and Duncan Campbell, fiar of Glenurchy, their son, on one part, and John Campbell, second lawful son of deceased John Campbell of Murthlie, on other part, said deceased John having left to said Colin curatory and government of said John, his son, whereby said Colin and Duncan bind themselves to maintain said John and defend possession of lands of Easter Morinche and Kenknock in barony of Moirlanich, sheriffdom of Perth, etc.

10. 1579, June 29 Copy contract between Duncan Campbell, fiar of Glenurquhay, one one part, and Gillepatrick McIncoll VikPatrick, Effrik Nein VcLiphatrik VcIllemertine, his spouse, John McIncoll VcLiphatrik, his brother, Duncan, Reoch and Nicol, sons of said Gillepatrick, and remaining men of their surname dwelling in Glenurquhay, descended from goodsire of said Gillepatrick, on other part, whereby the latter are to be leal and true servants to said Duncan and his heirs, lairds of Glenurquhay, whereby said Gillepatrick takes in fostering Robert Campbell, second son of said Duncan, who is to set to said Gillepatrick and his heirs the 6 merkland of Dulater, lying march with lands of Sokkich, for 19 years. Witnesses: Patrick McDowgall VcKane VcHerlich, Duncan McClairich, servant to said Duncan Campbell, Gillespick MakEthie and Dougal McArthour, notaries. 11. 1584, August 12 Contract between Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay, on one part, and Duncan Campbell of Duntrone and Agnes NikIlleane, his spouse, on other part, whereby said laird of Glenurquhay, fosterson to said Duncan and Agnes NikClauchlane, his deceased spouse, for continuation of friendly relations between houses of Glenurquhay and Duntrune, said Duncan and Agnes receive Colin Campbell, son and heir of said laird of Glenurquhay, in fostering, said Agnes promising to be a loving mother to said Colin. Witnesses: John Campbell, apparent of Duntrone, Alexander Campbell, lawful son of John Campbell of Innerlavir, John MakNeill Lin alias Campbell in Glastrie, Patrick McDonald Glass of Ilanrie and Gavin Hammiltoun, notary.
12. 1586, May 28 Contract between Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay, on one part, and William Schaw of Knokhill and Henry Schaw of Cambusmoir, on other part, whereby said Duncan binds himself to maintain said William and Henry and shall defend their tenants of 2½ merkland of Ardmakmoyne, 40s land of Brauchall, 2 merkland of Strongartvalt, 40s land of Edirralarach, 2½ merkland of the Larg, and 30s land of Corriechrombie, in stewartry of Menteith, sheriffdom of Perth, pertaining to said William, and 4 merkland of Ardkewnaknokquhan, 5 merkland and 10s land of Kerinoch and Stank and 5 merkland of Cambusmoir, lying as said is, pertaining to said Henry. Witnesses: Robert Menzies of Comrie, James Campbell of Lawris, Colin Campbell, his brother german, and Gavin Hammiltoun, notary.
13. 1586, August 22. Ilanrane. Contract between Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay and Alexander Redheuch, fiar of Cultobragane, whereby said Duncan is to maintain said Alexander, in his lands of Cultobragane, Malar, Malar McNab, Daltroune, Craginche, Dallanskea, Laggane, Abirlaidnok, Fintolich, Dalmarklane, in sheriffdom of Perth, or otherwise. Witnesses: John Barroune alias Menteith in Clathik, Edward Reidheugh, Colin Campbell, second son to John Campbell of Lawris, John Henrysoune, servant to said Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay.

15. 1587, December 13 Contract between Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay and Allister McRannald of Gargawath, whereby said Duncan is to maintain said Allister, in return for his service, `and gif it sal happin that the Clanregoure raiss arms or brek upone the said Duncane and his airis thair tennentis or dependaris that the said Allaster and his airis in propir persone with thair haill kin freindis dependaris parttakaris and samony as thai may mak sall assist the said Duncane and his foirsaidis and tak plane part with thame aganis the Clangregoure and thair dependaris during the haill tyme that the brek weir and troubill sall continew'. 19. 1595, December 25 Declaration by king and privy council that neither Archibald, earl of Argyll, nor his cautioners shall be pursued by virtue of bond for making his men, tenants and servants, answerable to justice conform to the general bond, `quhairupoun sundrie personis takis occasioun to call and persew him and his cautionaris for every licht caus, yea sumtymes for materis of les importance nor ten pundis, and sua haldis thame in continewall faschery and cummer'. 21. 1599, June 10 Bond by Colin Campbell of Lundy to be a constant and true friend to Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay, kt., his cousin, cautioner for deceased John, earl of Menteith, to John Gordoun of Buckie, for sum of 6000 merks, part of which is already paid, leaving sum of 4000 merks still unpaid by John, present earl of Menteith, and his tenants in Menteith, and cautioners, whereby said Colin promises to endeavour to further said Duncan to thankful payment of this sum. Witnesses: Mr Thomas Low, granter's servitor, Gavin Hammiltoun, notary, writer hereof, and Patrick Hammiltoun, his son lawful.

29. 1626, June 27 Bond by John Campbell of Eddirmuckie that, as long as he and his heirs retain tack of 2 merkland of Corricherrie in Fernane, granted by Duncan Robertsone, brother to the laird of Strowane, they will serve Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenurquhay, kt., and Colin Campbell, his son, and will also cause tenants of said 2 merkland to send a horse once in the year to Bruntiland, Stirling or Perth to help carry some wine to house of Balloche.
30-1. 1628, February 6 Bond of lawburrows by James Stewart in Kendloch and Patrick Stewart, his brother, that John Stewart in Druimquhein, his tenants, servants `and all utheris in thair ratihabitioun and assistance sall be hairmles and skaychtles ... in tyme cumming', under penalty of £200 scots half to be paid to the laird of Glenurquhay and half to the party damaged.

36. 1630, January 11 Bond by John Duy McIllemartine in Ferlochane, Duncan McIllemartine in Cuilcharane, Ewir McIllemartine there, Gillmartine McEandoy, servitor to John McDougall in Ferlochane, and Gillpatrick McCondachykean, servitor to Patrick Campbell in Barrachaldane, all surnamed McIllmartine, indwellers in Lorne and Benderalloche, to serve Robert Campbell of Glenfalloche, during his lifetime, and after his decease, John Campbell, his eldest lawful son, his heirs and successors, and to pay at their deaths, a sufficient tidy cow or a horse worth £16.
37. 1655, February 15 Bond by John Campbell, fiar of Glenurquy, and John Campbell of Kinloch, that, if John Menzies in Westir Stuiks demits office and service to the laird of Glenurquy, said John Campbell of Kinloch shall engage to serve said laird therein, provided he gets from said fiar all benefit due to said John Menzies for the same, and also providing that if the sucken of the mill of Acharn is wasted or any part thereof, by enemies, within tack of said John Campbell of Kinloch, then said fiar will give him such a proportion of the multure of the mill for that year as shall be declared before honest judges to be equal, and incase Margaret Campbell takes a tack of half of said mill and lands of Wester Lagan possessed by her and finds caution to pay conform to her former tack, then said John Campbell of Kinloch is bound to accept other half thereof, as agreed on in minute with said laird of Glenurquy, same date.

40-1. 1679, October 28 Copy bond by John, earl of Caithnes, to attend the earl of Argyle, with men and followers, well armed, etc, and to deliver 2 bonds, one of 6000 merks by said earl of Argyle to granter, and another of 4000 merks by said earl, blank in the creditor's name, to be cancelled, also renouncing patronage of kirk of Clachandysart, and to deliver up arms of the highland company received by granter, and in return said earl of Argyle is to see granter paid for 2 months' pay for officers and 100 soldiers, to give directions to granter's tenants in Glenurchie to give assistance to servants of said earl of Argyle in drawing down to water timber cut in Caithness.
